Each shard can be stored either offline or online. This setup empowers clients to customise their vault settings, by selecting from cold, warm, and hot vaults for each asset, ensuring maximum flexibility.

Transactions from hot wallets are signed automatically online and processed instantaneously. In contrast, cold wallet transactions require signing from the client-side user and a Copper account manager. With Copper's dedicated client services team available 24/7/365, even cold vault transactions are executed in minutes, anytime.
