Paul Wong helps governments, financial institutions, fintech firms, and other organizations realize the potential of blockchain. He is focused on building out Stellar's digital assets ecosystem (including stablecoins, tokenized securities, and central bank digital currencies). Before joining Stellar, he spent 17 years in central banking at the Federal Reserve Board and Bank for International Settlements. At the Federal Reserve, he established and led the Board’s Technology Lab, drafted international and domestic risk-management standards for financial market infrastructures, supervised systemically important payment systems, and oversaw central bank services to financial institutions.
