In a week that gave clarity from the SEC on assets such as Ethereum, there were also setbacks with continued delays in the CFTC’s Bakkt decision, as well as a statement from CBOE that it won’t be issuing any new BTC futures contracts.
Former Mt. Gox CEO Karpeles escapes prison after Tokyo court finds him guilty of manipulating exchange data, but innocent of the more significant chargers including embezzlement. He was handed a two year suspended sentence.
Watch out for a sure to be horrendous Hollywood take on the crypto space, starring Kurt Russel. It will hit the silver screen later this year. No doubt Augur will soon have the odds on how many trite references to crypto slang will be heard. #whenmoon
