Department environment

The role reports directly to the Head of Information Technology based in the UK but will be based in our Singapore office providing support, whilst helping to grow the team based in Singapore.

Set up, administration and maintenance of computer systems; install and configure hardware, software and network infrastructure, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensure the security of IT infrastructure, ongoing maintenance and administration of the Microsoft 365 / Azure platform.

Job description

  • This will be an on-site role, initially providing hands-on support to users, transitioning to become more of a team lead / Manager, but will need to roll up their sleeves when needed.
  • As the Singapore office grows so the IT team there will too, and this role would be key to hiring and building that team.
  • Regional office IT manager will be expected to manage the IT team in the regional office and act as the second systems administrator.
  • Supervising daily operations of IT services and IT service delivery
  • Assess and recruit candidates, train new IT staff, supervise and motivate team members for high performance and excellent service delivery
  • Consult with users and departments to estimate and resolve IT issues

Your experience, skills and knowledge – what we need from you

  • Have experience of coordinating installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues users may encounter
  • Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, network and IT systems to ensure premium IT services to the business
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving software, hardware and networking issues
  • Strong critical thinking skills
