We are looking for a talented & ambitious individual to join the rapidly expanding Copper team. As the scale and complexity of Copper grows every day, we need dynamic, entrepreneurial, analytical thinkers to support in optimising decision making and driving rapid but profitable growth. This is a perfect opportunity to become part of a team responsible for driving the strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role will manage the full lifecycle of strategic alliance partnerships with system integrators and consultancies, including any associated go-to-maker activities.
  • Through close engagement with sales, marketing, product, and legal, this person will be responsible for creating differentiated offerings with our partners to ensure the alliances drive value to clients and meaningful revenue to Copper.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships
  • Convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner, with comfort in both business and technical discussions
  • Ensure internal alignment on all operational aspects linked to our Partner Programme and serve as the focal point for escalation for overall partnership issue resolution

Your experience, skills and knowledge

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business development or partnership roles
  • Credible experience in driving successful partnerships and alliances and/or demonstrated experience of building and managing a robust corporate development pipeline
  • Knowledge of financial services and banking technology
  • Background in fintech, Saas, banking, trading, payments technology, and digital assets a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in data and technology driven businesses in cloud-native environments
  • Data-savvy – demonstrated experience working in product
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of cross-functional teams
  • Interest in digital assets
