Welcome to another episode of Coppercasts!
For the 15th edition, we're joined by John Newbery, founder and executive director of Brink.
Brink is a nonprofit organisation that strives to support Bitcoin’s open source developer community. In addition to writing grants to Bitcoin projects, Brink is also training promising Bitcoin developers in its fellowship program.
CopperCasts are split into two parts. The first is a short (2min) video in which our guest shares with us something they find unusual or inspiring about the digital asset space. The second half is a traditional audio-only podcast, which you can stream at the bottom of this page, or search for it in all the usual places.
In the above Show & tell segment, John unpacks how Brink is contributing to Bitcoin’s long-term success in a 3min explainer.
In the longer audio-only conversation with CopperCasts host Tyler Kenyon, John describes the inner workings of the bitcoin development community, explains why he founded Brink and also covers all things Taproot.
P.S. The best link for the PR Review Club (which John momentarily couldn't recall during the podcast recording) is https://bitcoincore.reviews/. Here you will find all the relevant details about how to get involved.
