today announced the appointment of Carly NuzbachLowery as Chief Legal Officer.

She will lead Copper’s global Legal and Compliance teams, as they build and formalise standards and structure for Copper’s continued innovation and international expansion. Carly takes up her new role with immediate effect.

Carly joins Copper from Coinbase where she was Associate General Counsel in London, prior to which she was Senior Legal Counsel at Uber and Barclays. Carly began her legal career at Linklaters and holds degrees from Georgetown University and The George Washington University Law School. She is a member of the bar in both New York and the UK.

With her experience in international digital asset markets and disruptive technology, combined with her background in financial services, she is uniquely qualified to steer Copper through the rapidly changing landscape of crypto regulations, as this asset class occupies an increasingly significant space in global markets.
